When can I move in?

Residents can start moving in on their move-in date. If you are needing to move in sooner, please contact the office to see if those arrangements can be made.

When can I start receiving mail and packages?

As soon as their account is active with us as a current resident.

What are the requirements to be able to live at u edge??

Anyone who applies and is approved is more than welcome to live here at U Edge. We do ask that you make 2.5 the amount of rent in a month to be able to qualify financially.

Are utilities included? what are the costs?

Water, sewer, internet, and cable are included. There is a $12 fee for valet trash pickup. You also pay for electricity. One-bedroom units are $100/month and 2,3 and 4 bedrooms are $75/month.

How are roommates picked and when do students get these results?

If you do not have a specific roommate in mind during move in, we will match you ahead of time with a roommate and notify you so that you have plenty of time to get familiar with each other.

Absolutely. Let us know ahead of time when you submit your application that you have a friend in mind to room with and we will make sure that you are put together.

Is there a laundry facilities?

We have a washer and dryer in each unit!

Are pets allowed in the apartments?

Yes, pets are allowed. There is a $350 non refundable pet deposit and a $25/pet monthly charge.

How do I pay rent?

We accept checks, money orders, and cashier checks in our office made payable

to University Edge.  We also accept credit, debit cards, and ACH payments online at universityedgend.residentportal.com for your convenience as an alternative

payment option.  We are unable to accept cash.

Can students cancel their contracts during the academic year?

University Edge has no cancellation policy.  Meaning once you have signed your lease, you have committed to a legally binding agreement.

When will I know where I will be living?

We will notify you prior to your move in date.

Do I need rental insurance for my personal belongings?

Yes, we offer insurance for your personal belongings at just $5.00/month.

When will I know if I am assigned an apartment?

Once a lease is generated, you are locked into your unit size. Specific unit numbers will be assigned closer to your actual move-in date and you will be notified ahead of time with that number.

Can I see an apartment prior to moving in?

Of course! You can schedule a time to come visit us for a tour during our normal business hours. If you can’t make it to us, we can set up a time to have a virtual tour set up.

Where is rent due?

Rent is due in full at the time of move-in, or if you wish to do monthly payments, rent is due at the 1st of each month. Late fees are applied on the 4th of the month.

What is the deposit amount?

Our deposit is usually one month’s rent, however, we currently have a special going on and are offering a $200 refundable deposit for a limited time!

Who should I contact if I have a maintenance problem?

You can call the office after hours if it is an emergency and it will be directed to one of our technicians on call. If it is not an emergency, you can log into your resident portal and submit a work order from there.
